GRANTS PROGRAM
The New York National Guard Family Readiness Council Grants Program was created to provide financial assistance to members of the New York State Organized Militia.  This includes Army National Guard, Air National Guard, New York Guard and Naval Militia, whose immediate families experience financial hardships during the Service Member’s period of deployment and up to eighteen months following the Service Member’s demobilization.  Also eligible are Organized Militia who serve on State Active Duty or missions in excess of twenty consecutive days.
Each application must be completed in its entirety by the Service Member or an immediate family member and include copies of all available supporting documentation.  For example, a proof of need statement with copies of billing statements for which the grant is requested must be included.
